Yes, I agree with you that 90% of this thread falls under that category. While I may be punching/bashing dubya on this thread, it does not mean that I hold all liberal views and also it does not mean that I like Gore. IMO, in this devils alternative, Gore is better and there are certain republican issues that keep me from supporting the party. In other words a compatible republican candidate is palatable. Republican bosses thought that GW Bush was it and tried to shove him down people's throats. IMO, he is not strong enough to stand upto his RR base if the majority opinion requires him to do so. John McCain has that ability to feel the pulse of the nation. Hence I would have supported him in principle despite his conservative outlook.
