John McCain has that ability to feel the pulse of the nation. Hence I would have supported him in principle despite his conservative outlook.

LOL!! Be nice if you could vote first. You'd be supporting Gore if Abe Lincoln was his opponent (if you could vote that is).

BTW, the new AP poll reported in the Washington Post on Friday says Gore trails in Tenn and that Bush has opened a double digit lead in GA. Moreover, the voters interviewed gave Bush the edge on trust. And trust is what this election is all about.

All McCain had was the ability to feel the pulse of his Big Media pals. 95% of Americans don't give a rip or oppose tax payer financed political campaigns. It's about #50 on the list of concerns of the average citizen but #1 on Big Media's list - hence their "love".
