Hi polvie, Haven't had a chance to get over to your thread yet. My better half (the anthropologist) has been dragging me (not really) off to Indian powwows. I understand you've recently been interested in some market history. For a pictorial look consider (from L. Dudash) geocities.com Perhaps I'm being stupid (like that would be something new), but I'm not too concerned about this chart. Not only does it seem to have a interesting definition of bear, but 3 of the 4 indicated "bears" didn't just touch, but carried the 52 week low down with them. This seems to reduce the significance of the thesis to me. More importantly, if this bear correction still has another phase after the current dip (as I believe it will), then the 52wk low line will rise to meet the Naz line on the next dip. We'll see.
