OT OT Hi Olivier-- Just out of curiosity, how exactly did Dantes acquire his wealth in Count of Monte Cristo? I haven't read it since middle school, but I believe it was something rather contrived, like a pirate's treasure on a random island. I would call that "dubious." Or, perhaps you would like to argue literature with me?

Olivier,

I have had slanderous accusations made against me on at least a dozen occasions during the last week from the Rambus thread.

The only way to prove your worth around here is to demonstrate that you are correct in your views. Instead of coming around here claiming victory about past events, perhaps you should start building a basis of predicting future events. Maybe in about two years SI folks will believe that you are for real.

Instead you have displayed arrogance and violated the cardinal rule of SI (threatening other posters), and have thus made unlikely any possibility of achieving good standing.

You would be wise to back off and start behaving more civilly, while you still have a shot at credibility on SI.

COMC,

re: "I wonder how many of you here believe in open defamation of character at SI of anyone who disagrees with certain opinions. I would hope a very tiny minority. He stated "from a dubious source." I would ask all of SI by what right he made that comment. It is scandalous, and typical of those who have an agenda here. It will not go unanswered."

Dubious is a compliment around these parts. And hardly slander. Everything you read on the Internet is dubious.

Now please find a new hobby, reading your insulting posts on this thread, even when it is EriK K that you are insulting, is a "dubious" use of our time.

John

You really, really, really, ought to head on over to the Rambus thread where the posters are more low-key and will take well to your style.

Say something negative about the stock or the company's technology and bask in the polite and considered responses you'll receive.

Regards,

Dan

Count - surely you are joking. If SI attempts to take action against one of the better and more knowledgeable posters, most of us will "take up arms" and demand a recount. You would be wise to let it drop - and also try and post at least something related to Intel if you insist on cluttering this thread.
