Yummy!

Some would like 3, others would like 4. Is there some way to divide it half and half?
Three is plenty for me, but I can share with someone if we need 4.

Jan,

I have two more people that may be joining the group for dinner, should I add them and cancel later if they don't make it in time?

wow! all those choices!!!!

I think I'd better make MrLucky vote on his own...:-)

I'd like most of what you listed, so I'll itemize what I would NOT want:

Escargot
Corn Chowder
Onion Soup

Swordfish
Halibut
Anything with scallops (allergic!)
Steak and Lobster (just too much food)
Porterhouse (ditto)
Anything else that weighs too great a fraction
of my body weight<g>

Grapefruit Cake --I don't think so!

So there you have it. I would enjoy anything else.
My fav starters would be Caesar Salad and shucked oysters or oysters Rockefellar or whatever their version is.

Ta da!

M

Thank you for doing all of this work to begin with...I would prefer three courses, but if we have to pick four, my choices are:

Appetizers:
Chilled Jumbo Gulf Shrimp

Salad:
Traditional Caesar Salad.

Main entree:
12OZ Filet Mignon of Beef
Mesquite Grilled (LV is lacking in good cuisine, so I'm going with the steak, as that is relatively safe.}

Either that or..
Pan Seared Halibut and Sea Scallops
Creamy clam, potato sauce and roast parisienne potatoes

Dessert:
Brown Derby Apple Tart
Thin sliced apples arranged on top of a rich creme patisserie flavored with ground almonds baked in a sugar dough crust

But, I'm easy, so if no one wants what I've picked out, than I'll go with the flow.

The Phoenix votes for...

Starter: Crab Cakes or Traditional Caesar Salad

Main Course: Grilled Pacific Salmon or Chiliean Sea Bass (YUM!), or Pan Seared Halibut and Sea Scallops

Dessert: Has to Be Banana's Foster and YOU DON'T Have it on the list. This must be added.
