Some informative op/ed on the indexes and near term. I like the "phoneix" strategy, very keen, beyond this i am holding onto all cash, minor plays here and there until I see how the indexes behave to the latest concerto of support piercing. Message 14532442

Rande I tried to get more companies to consider. What do you think about these? Am I on the right path or are we still missing some big ones? Some of these health co's - are they just contrarian or are funds accumulating? Rande, DCLK was up 4.2 % on Friday, inspite of the general internet bloodbath. Not sure why. I do know they will turn their first profit this quarter, no longer burn cash and have almost 1 billion in cash. Could be investors were thinking that they will be the only winner in the i-net advertising space. Or could be short covering...LOL

Another good Phoenix candidate...UTX Elevators, jet engines, air conditioners, heat pumps, fuel cells, etc, etc... quote.yahoo.com siliconinvestor.com Seems to get stronger as the market has gotten weaker. Has successfully broken thru strong resistance in the $65-$66 area...now headed for it's all time high, just under $75...if it doesn't get thru $75, well that would be a big ole double top... As far as the techs go, I'm very frustrated with myself for not waiting till now to start buying...ya gotta love that hind site! SR
