Jeff, if you chart the stock market over the years, it has always been a bull market--this country and economy is very very strong--even the crashes and recessions are bears within the context of a general upward relenteless trend. Maybe we won't be seeing 2,000% returns but its still a bull....last Sept/Oct we were just as worried, if you go back and look at posts...in fact Jerry noted, it's almost like clockwork, we expect it, so it comes to pass. We've faced much worse bugaboos than possible oil prices.

Not to say we haven't been spooked, and its become more and more a trader's market. I'm not sure the NAZ can do what I hoped this fall, but I bet it'll close betwen 44-4600 by year's end...not the 5000 I was hoping.

Meanwhile....I think of last spring...NTAP went down to 45! Look where it is today. I also think the market is becoming stratified, very selective....there are a handful of stocks to be in.
