more than last winter for heating oil, .."......they're entitled to some respite from the very low prices of heating oil the last 3 winters...My neighbor,who's in the heating oil consumer biz,almost got out of the biz after seeing his income drop the last 3 years............What do you think the energy prices would be in this country even if we were totally nondependent on outside oil....educated guess tells me that they would on average be the same knowing the greed of Big Oil.....Karen Silkwood,where are you when we need you?

Clinton nevertheless brought prices down 7 cents and popped the speculation bubble. Why criticize that? It was the right thing to do and the people are glad he did it. Did Bush prefer higher prices remain? (his crowd sure did)
