Ron, you posted...

Vice President Al Gore's push to privatize a federal oil field added tens of thousands of dollars to the value of oil stock owned by the Gore family, which has been further enriched by skyrocketing gasoline prices.

Ron, that story's leader seems to suggest that was the motivator in almost as many words. That was what I was commenting on, the story you posted... wasn't that the spin that paragraph is putting on it?

And goodness haven't you been reading me with American Spirit. I've got problems with Gore. We all should. He is connected. But, really I'm voicing a concern over bigger issues than which politician porked which barrel. You know that Reagan had 105 top administration people resign under disgrace or actually indicted, right? Let's admit when we have our apologists. Now you haven't taken a position on Reagan but I imagine you have one. Care to share??

I'm voting for Supreme Court. Environment. Social policy. I think we know how that cuts. Do I love the guy carrying the flag. Nooooooooo.
