I think anyone who admires ANYONE probably admires a liar. We all tell lies, even though lots of people claim they don't...they're liars.

Did you know people who are good at lying are more popular? It aids your ability to socialize if you can lie. Think about it. You are surrounded by folks at a dinner party who are HORRIBLE. They think exactly the opposite way you do on every issue. Do you spend the evening arguing, or do you, in essence lie, by nodding your head politely, no matter what is said, as you work your way through your dinner? No one can please everyone, but politicians try by ...lying. There have been so many great lies. Who can forget, "Read my lips, no new taxes". Such a good one. Or, for the other side, "I never had sex with...that woman." The only way NOT to lie is to say nothing of substance whatsoever. It's been tried. Doesn't work very well. And most of the electorate expects and wants (imo) to be lied to.

It's the sizzle not the steak that American's want to buy.
