Gosh- Reagan slept through Iran contra- to here him tell it. "I have no specific recollection..." Gosh if I had a dollar for every time I heard that during those hearings- and I watched them all, fascinated by the spectacle of men lying because they thought they'd done right, and not only that, but it was right to lie about it. A truly inspirational moment in time. Clinton, as a liar, is an anticlimax compared to Reagan, Poindexter, North et al. I've seen the best, all other liars will come second. Unless a REALLY REALLY impressive bunch comes along. Nixon and his team were just goofy compared to Iran contragate.
