Enterprises deploying Exchange 2000 can now use Workstyle Server to provide mobile workers with wireless access to this important productivity tool, extending its capabilities to a broad range of wireless devices. Workstyle Server support for Exchange 2000 is being demonstrated this week at the Microsoft Exchange Conference in Dallas. With the Workstyle Server, an enterprise can securely extend real-time wireless access to both Microsoft Exchange 2000 and Exchange 5.5-based corporate e-mail, calendar and contacts to mobile workers. The software supports access via wireless Internet devices including mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs) and landline connections to PCs and laptops. It will be in limited trials within the next 30 days and is expected to ship in the first half of 2001.
