Dave re:shortsighted probably but at least they have not created "dell" yet. Just imagine how much power Miky got over intel. That is dell got so much exposure as intel only ("qualiity") shop that if dell would recognize amd or if dell's computers would have problems that generate such a huge negative effect on intel that would do anything and everything to avoid that. IMHO, that is the worse that rambus flap. Regards -Albert ps I wonder if intel pays Miky to use intel instead of charging him :-))

David, The lack of branding with such an excellent product is not acceptable. So what percentage of each Athlon revenue dollar should be spent on advertising? How would you spend it? Direct AMD brand building or OEM rebates for building the Athlon brand or other method? Dave
