That is why, if i get the chance to get myself anywhere close to where i was at the beginning of this year (year-end rally to 4000 or so really needed to do that), I will quit. I've done this for more than 20 years. There is no rhyme or reason in the market anymore. It's just getting worse each day. Mutual funds have joined the ranks of day traders. Buy and hold just doesn't work.

Jim, I agree. I am at a point where I almost feel it to be a necessity to exit the day with cash outside of my self-compiled mutual funds. tp
