Thanks Ted. Looks like it closed at 3350 today.

FWIW we rallied into the close....although it was a negative closing.

What does your earnings estimate report for AMD say for the range of the estimates this Q? Our reports have always been a little different in the past. I think mine from First Call says .60 - .64, but I'll look at it later today when I have it. I'm curious what number AMD needs to beat all estimates, not just the average.

The same...Zack's gets its info from First Call; however in the past, I think we may not have been insync time wise.

What bothers me is that the estimate for Q3 has come down from $.64 to $.62 in the last 60 days. I hope that its not based on guidance from AMD.

Cirruslver,

All this talk on the mod thread of 5.5 million chips is crazy. First T. Beckham has said they have not talked with anyone re Q4. Secondly, I am begining to sense some desperateness on the apart of analysts to call the shots now that the SEC ruling is getting ready to go into play...10/23. I think the analysts have been cut off from company info for a couple of months now because of the new ruling and they don't like it.

Its clear that the P4 is not going to be the a threat for all of 2001...you don't think AMD will make hay while the giant sleeps....give me a break.

If AMD goes down tomorrow, I buy more! AMD is in the best place its ever been in its history...no question!!
