The same sort of problem exists in Win98. In theory you can mix any manufacturers card, however, in practice I have found this to be a difficult task. I now use all the same brand and type of cards and driver (3 ATI Expert98) and don't have any problems. However, originally I had a mix of different types of ATI cards and they would not all work when installed in certain PCI slot combinations. It was a tedious period of trial and errors of installing the cards and different drivers in the correct order to get them to finally work. I won't go that route again!
