Service Offers to Beam Coupons to Your PDA

SUMmedia's SavingUMoney.com now distributes coupons by Palm
and mobile phone as well as Web.

Cameron Crouch, PCWorld.com
Monday, October 09, 2000

"To redeem SavingUMoney.com mobile coupons, you can show the
clerk or waiter a redemption window on your device's display, or
give them a coupon number, says David Noble, chief information
officer at SUMmedia.com."

and....

"SUMmedia.com predicts that soon you'll beam coupons via wireless
infrared from a Palm to a cash register. Eventually, your Palm might
even transmit the coupon via a Bluetooth wireless connection, Noble
says."

I think that you can look forward to a very good report from AMD (Wed after close) with good guidance going forward. That should be both in the case of flash chips and processors.

Don't expect the same from Intel though. I don't think that their "diwosefication" plans are going too good and they are being kicked on their rear ends by AMD in their mainstay- the x86 processor market.

They will & other techs too will burst the "OIL BUBBLE" stocks. Then watch a run with the money rotation back into the top tech stocks, CSCO, INTC, AMD, and newbies like COMS voted the best financially run tech company in the InformationWeek special, and PALM and the linux operating stocks CORL, RHAT, LNUX and even MSFT which recently bought into 25% of CORL and INPR which may well wish it had merged there instead. Then watch the Christmas rebound into computer stocks, like AAPL and all the rest.
