Then form a national oil cartel to get better rates in the worldwide oil market and use the savings to invest in wind and solar. Problem is, this is beyond GOPwinger perception. They'd rather simply, and for profit, just drill here and we'll just drill there--so what if it's more of America's pristine land which gets ruined in the process.

No. We need a better thinker than Bush in the presidency. These are complex problems America faces; not easy Texas fixings.

Side issue:

Anyone know what the fundraising practices are for Texas judicial races? They do elect judges down there, don't they? If you think about it, such elections would be an interesting way to keep power in the state of Texas. Think Bush had that down before he became govenror?
