Brian:

Wow. Talk about naive. Your defense of Bush's intelligence rests primarily on the fact that he went to Yale and Harvard. I am not taking a stand here as to whether he is intelligent or not, but his attendance at Ivy League schools means nothing. I know many graduates from Ivy League and other top schools who are, in my opinion, of marginal intelligence.

There are many way to get into these schools, and it is not always based on merit. (Again, I am not getting into the argument of whether Bush was admitted based on merit or otherwise.)

Aplogies to the thread for continuing the off-topic stuff...

"After your statements, I am now wondering about your "intellectual ability," no offense intended.

Because Cary said Bush was an intellectual lightweight you come with the insults, much like you did when I equated tobacco with poison. You owe Cary an apology. It really is a sign of immaturity on your part to maliciously attack folks who have differences of opinions with you. I am sure Cary was blindsided by your response just as I was several months ago.

I suspect he recieved more coaching to get through Yale and Harvard Business School than he has received to appear "presidential" in the debates.

Listen to Bush and his VP candidate promoting the same things. The difference is excruciatingly obvious.
