When Alan Greenspan raises interest rates again to stop the inflationary effect of Bush's tax cut you'll end up losing money.......especially after the recession it triggers.

Ooops, I think you've forgotten your liberal manta. "Bush's plan favors the rich." Remember?

The rich have a high propensity to save compared to the low-income taxpayer that Gore's plan supposedly favors. To be consistent, you'd need to argue that it's Gore's plan that will increase demand and hence inflation.

The tax cut is not inflationary. There will be no more money in circulation due to a tax cut. There will be no marked increase in aggregate demand due to a tax cut. The increased taxable revenue is in line with GDP growth, and therefore non- inflationary. It merely represents a normal increase in demand as a result of prosperity, and in line with productivity.........

By the way, Milton Friedman has calculated that the growth in the money supply must roughly follow GDP growth, or there will be a deflationary effect that will cause a recession. If Alan Greenspan does what you say, he is likely to cause a recession.......

Using your logic, we should assume a tax INCREASE would be the best thing for us.

Just in case you are interested, excessive deficit spending by the Fed. government is the single biggest contributor to inflation and high interest rates. You also overlooked JFK's tax cuts which increased the treasury's tax receipts yet inflation remained level or went lower. A win, win, win result.

Just what is it that you think the Gore camp will give you.

<<heck even hard core Republican Bob Brinker said he wishes Bush would change his plan to cut taxes!!!!!!!!!! WAKE UP>>

Guess you weren't listening to Brinker last Saturday. He was saying the rate hikes were overdone and we are headed for a deep recession.
