I repeat, there is no shortage of heating oil in the NE. The definition that Gore used on us earlier in this year, is that a shortage means that there is not enough fuel at any price to satisfy the needs of an area. He then pointed to the common example of the Arab Oil Embargo in the 70's. Well, by the Clinton's own DOE, there is not any shortage of heating oil in the NE or anywhere in the US. It is that the price went up to 50% more than last year. Yeah, some shortage (of cheap heating oil)!

Pete,

Please read the article that Crow posted...its very unflattering to Gore...but it does say their is a shortfall....24 million gallons vs 48 million last year at this time. I have read those numbers somewhere else as well.

And I have read the Milwaukee Journal....if its left leaning, then you must be right of Mr. Limbaugh. ;~))
