Dear Ted: It depends on which editor is writing the piece. It was combined with the Milwaukee Sentinel (a pro business newspaper before the merger). But, the Milwaukee Journal was always liberal and has majority control of the combined entity (they also own many TV and Radio stations around the US including WTMJ channel 4, WTMJ-AM 620 and WKTI-FM 94.5 here). Although, I would agree that overall the amount of lean left is less than many other big city newspapers who are totally on the left (maybe that is why you think that a slightly left of centrist news is right of Limbaugh). This is an area that is economically conservative but, socially liberal (like some of the southern "Boll Weivel" Democrats). I believe the units were in million barrels (40 gal each) and does that include the 2 million barrel reserve the government set up after last year? Pete
