Sure, I know that. And those two were what we now call the Internet before the Web. if you could get Usenet access in the pre-1990 period, you were lucky. In this part of the country, you could only get access in that time frame by being in a university that has open access to Usenet, not all did, or work for a company which used it for Unix support. This, in no way contradicts what I posted.
