I think it's worth accumulating right here, and more if it drops below 20. But as far as what the real worth of the company is, I would also like someone to take a stab at that question. Yogi

I'm thinking of opening a long position. Thanks.

Still looking...(since $50). I did not sell the puts, (as I was considering in the above post), I decided to sit it out. I did not like the potential obligation to buy LU, in stead I shall keep the cash as I have some covered calls in other co's that I may buy back if the market turns.

Frankly, aside from LU's problem, the overall market needs to turn before anything positive can happen.

The timing of LU's problems has been in the near-worst overall market sentiment of late... perhaps this will lead to the needed final killing sell-off so we can attempt to rebuild.

Unfortunately, in the process, young Lucky Lucy has become a middle aged psychotic Lucretia McEvil... She is going to have to go to the shrink before Mr. Market will date her again !

Just my opinion.

The value of Lucent is $10 - $15 based upon company's market position, product breadth, and management team. Any value above $15 is based upon the past, not the reality of today.
