Right there is a surplus now. The baby boom has been paying into this thing for 30 years. So you say you want to privitize, thats fine with me, can we force everybody that is under 65 at this moment to use this privitization plan exclusively and fund their own retirement? Because that is what you seem to be proposing. We both know the issue is the year 2020 or so. I refuse to pay for my own social security private plan and these retiring baby boomer's at the same time. So remove those fica payments from my check and I'm happy. What happens to the current 50-year-olds is what the issue is.
