Personally, I'd like to see Gore take the Presidency, and the Republicans control both legislative branches. This is not because I prefer Gore to Bush; my opinion of both is so low that I would be hard pressed to determine which of them I like less. I want gridlock. I want whatever party controls the executive to be checked by a solid majority in both legislative houses, simply to reduce the ability of either bozo to do lasting damage. And I don't want Democrats in charge of the legislature, because I don't like the idea of giving them the purse.

So there's an $800 difference from an already existing program, which he wants us to believe he invented from scratch. Why does Gore want to make $800 sound like $10,000? To get elected. What a shyster.

Also not everyone who goes to college or sends a child to college will qualify so for some the $800 is really $0.

Tim

Ah glad you asked about the name.

Interests in astronomy (Cosmos) and physics (forces). So Cosmic Force. However, I am humble and reserve this Capitalized Name for what you might call God, the big unknowable Cosmic Force. I am an animist, basically.

So, out of that sense of humility, I am little-c cosmicforce. We are all able to change our little-c cosmos (definitions: 1, 2 and 3, dictionary.com ) by our thoughts and actions. So, really, all of us are cosmic forces and manifestations of The Cosmic Force.

So, other than that explanation and the cool sound it carries, I merely had the opportunity to grab a good name. That's it. No sense of personal grandiosity. Well maybe a little, but if adjusted by other factors, no more than most people.

Et tu, Selectric II?
