Hi Bill,

Looking back at the percent rise the NAZ went thru it stands to reason that the NAZ shake will be the worst.

Removing one's emotions (if that is possible) suggests that the harder the shake the better the pop off the bottom.Especially if the end of the world doesn't actually occur.

I still see chips and electronics actually still growing faster. If oversupply developes then prices fall and even more people get used to "needing" the products.

I'm hoping that today begins to give us that "VIX spike" I've been patiently waiting for.

If it developes,it will provide one of those wonderful moments where some of yesterday's most dynamic highflyers will once again (albeit ever so rarely) join the ranks of value stocks.(I've been buying: Cohu,Ltxx,Intt)

The end is not near it is just simply a GREAT time to buy quality leadership stocks at huge discounts.

DISCOUNTS created by the fear of the LEMS.

I've been a positional trader for a long time.It absolutely amazes me how obvious these moments are - in a long term time frame. What has eluded me is the clear thought process to trade frequently like you and GZ seem so adept at.

I guess everyone has to stick with what works for them.

I don't contribute much on this thread, but now is a time I've been waiting for.To enter into long term positional trades. If done correctly they can be wealth defining pivotal points in a person's wealth.

I'm looking for a VIX spike into the 40's and the secondary wave it will create as the margin calls created by the plummeting of the generals (that never get creamed - except during VIX spikes). The second wave VIX spike could well pop up into the 60's. These times also correlate with general market bottoms and provide almost immediate 20-30% cushions within 30-60 days.

As contrary to the thought's of the lems and to parphrase one of your favorite sayings - THIS IS TIME TO BET THE FARM!

For those who would like to observe VIX and confirm that it is indeed developing:

Go To: WWW.QUOTE.COM click on livecharts, erase lycos and input VIX.X. I watch it on 15 minute time frame.

Thanks to you for helping me learn on your thread. Thanks to Plonk you predicted the bottom of 98 would be confirmed by a VIX spike.

Let's hope it happens again. I hope this helps someone make a lot of money - including myself. JMHO

Bring on the blood in the streets. I feel a selling frenzy coming on and I'm buying the bargains. HEHEHEHEHEHE

Bob

I know it gets confusing, but buy low sell high still works.Buying low is a whole lot easier to do these days.
