I'm not sure what this "clear logic" is supposed to be. That stocks surely find a bottom? And another thing, just who are the real lemmings anyways?
Speaking of reality, lemmings, and reading things over again, if we revisit the period about three months ago, when analyst Jonathan Joseph downgraded the semiconductor sector to the hoots and hollers of the best and the brightest on this thread, what do we find?
Well, for my own personal interests I see that on July 6, the day after Joseph's downgrade, ASYT closed at 31 1/4, LRCX at 35 1/8, MTSN 28 5/16, and AMAT at 85 5/8. To boot, they all went up some over the next week or two! Now I know it's result playing, but I'm thinking that it would have been nice to have given more thought to Joseph's post and the derisive consensus it generated here. At least I might have some money to buy something now.
