>>You folks apparently know each other pretty well or I've missed a LOT of posts.<<

This is a running gag with Ish, he claims anyone who gets any is getting more than he does.

I had a similarly weird experience last Friday. I stopped at a gas station I'd never gone to, but I was familiar with the area in general. When I left, lo and behold there were yellow lines painted between the driveway and the main road, basically telling me to go right, get back into the parking lot, and exit the parking lot on the side road. Well, I was in a bad mood, so I just pulled out onto the main road, with plenty of room to spare, but some yahoo in a pickup truck was pissed off that I'd crossed the yellow lines, apparently, so he started blowing his horn and tail-gating me. I could tell by his face as seen in my rear view mirror that he was on some kind of mission, and he followed me quite a ways no matter how I turned. I was contemplating driving to the police station to get rid of him but managed to shuffle him off by changing lanes at a busy intersection. There are just some crazy people out there.

My own pet peeve is people who won't let me, or someone else, merge, but I don't think it's always deliberate, because my own husband never lets people merge, and it's just due to inattention, not meanness. As for passing on the right, it's so common here I can't imagine anyone getting mad. Cutting in front of someone with inches to spare is a local fine art, as well.
