Disappointing. Clearly, they are dumping chips at much lower prices than listed. There simply is no other way to explain them shipping 1.8 million more Athlons (replacing K6's) and coming in with essentially flat profits and revenues.

in the name of market share they may well do it...as far as i can tell, the price war has already begun.

btw, how were the AMD earnings? i was busy otherwise in the meantime...

Well that's it heinz. We've are at the top of the coffee shop list, we have had clown visits, we were the subject today of the funniest post in a very long time and we have regulars talking about new threads.
