Hi Greg. Here is where the TrainWreck is in my head.

I see this stuff as fundamentally Low Tech. I see the programmers as afraid that they cannot justify their jobs and their high salaries.

I see the Nuts and Bolts of the entire industry.....The RazorBlades if you will....The ColdFusions,,(and servlets),,,as further bringing the pricing of the programmers back to earth......

I see Allaire at 95 percent off of it's high with a 200 Million Market Cap. At the same time I see ARIBA (personnel agency) approaching a 35 Billion Market Cap testing all time highs(as of several days ago) approaching Yahoo Valuation.

I see everybody and their brother Bashing Allaire as a low Tech Product that will never Make it with the Big Corporate Clients.

I see Morgan Stanley involved with each of their IPO's and the stocks running lock step until about 8 weeks ago. Then a total disassociation. siliconinvestor.com

I see a conspiracy theory. I see Allaire Being taken out and shot because they pissed somebody off by trying to be the WalMart of the industry and empowering the massess.

I see this entire Web Ecommerce moving towards the masses and driving the prices down with affordable web based applications.

I see it happening and people trying to justify 40 billion market caps at the same time. So in that sense. Yeah. It's fascinating to me.
