AMD is finding out that it is HARD to do many things correctly at the same time time.

Intel handled that well for many years - but has screwed up for the past 18 months.

As for dumping your AMD - well, better to follow your convictions than to be absorbed by anguish - and this market - and the world news - is pretty gut wrenching.
