In the old tops make good bottoms department, the Nasdaq held on a line across the 1999 peak, piercing it slightly yesterday:

Also, was noticing that Yahoo offered traders three chances to get out: at a break of a 40-point broadening pattern at 110 in July; at a break of a bear flag at about 105 in September with a 40-point pole; and on a 15-point rectangle that broke down at 125 in late August, but should have broken up, showing technical weakness. The flag and broadening pattern predicted a move to the 65-70 area.
