rudedog, what, perchance, is indicative of "incorrectly considering micro effects as indicative of macro trends." in the data show in www2.ios.com Looks like a pretty smooth slope up to me.

What I follow of the global warming debate seems like the debate on evolution. The debunkers have a lot of criticism but not a lot of alternative explanations. The preferred current line seems to be handwaving about "natural causes". I can point you to a petition you can sign if you want to be counted as a "scientist" the next time the WSJ "debunks" global warming, though. oism.org

Afer listening to the debate last night, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Bush agrees that the facts are not clearly understood - YET.

Your daughter shows every sign of being a truly objective scientist. I hope she is also vocal.
