CNN now reporting DOD has stated that the USS Cole was almost certainly a terrorist attack.

There was an explosion aboard a small boat that was assisting with the mooring lines. The explosion was so severe it left a gash 20'x40'....

And I wish they would get the ship's "class" right. It's not an Aegis, but an Arleigh Burke class destroyer. The Aegis is a cruiser.
