That is really your answer? Sounds like the guy in Shakespear in Love who, not having an answer,just said "it's a mystery, no one can know it"
I thought we were supposed to be logical on this thread? That is not an answer. If personality is not personal and morality is not moral then logically your not being logical. You seem to want to take your ball and go home. Stay and play. But do it within the rules. Logic please.

I'm sorry I still don't see that as being an answer. If you reduce everything to particles, or atoms or balls for that matter then there is ultimately, no room for personality. Yet it is you, that mentioned Decart's "I think therefore I am" Taking a mystical leap from there does not solve that problem for you it just ignores it. Either you really exist as a person or you do not. If you exist, how do you explain your personal existence? If you do not exist, then who the heck am I talking to?
