Zeev, my feeling is that the danger of the ME situation totally spinning out of control is very high. There appears to be a growing cycle of retribution on both sides. If the Israeli gov't feels compelled(for political reasons) to launch a harsh attack on the Palestinians it is quite possible that a movement towards a new oil embargo could begin.

At any rate, until things cool off I can't see any sustained rally taking place. The market will probably be very weak tomorrow afternoon, with the danger of events over the weekend getting crazy.

Zeev, The market's starting to look interesting again, don't you think? Much more positive sentiment is developing for November and December among folks like Myron Kandel, Joe Batapaglia, and Abbey Cohen. Maybe the semis will pick up steam and power ahead. What are your thoughts?
