It'll be very interesting to see if they drive the market into the ground on the close, or if they prop it up for another "promising" close that offers a ray of hope. If they crash it into 4 p.m. and take us lock-limit down on tomorrow's open, I'd say we're probably pretty close to seeing our bottom. If they give us another day of hope, that'll signal that they're still trying to find suckers to take paper off their hands.

FWIW, right now it looks to me like we're going to get that ray of hope. There's a lot of green on those CNBC "Widely Held" screens (INTC, ORCL, SBC), and they're doing all in their power hold the 50 Maginot Line for CSCO.
