A 20 year Bull! 20 years ago I was getting 15% on Phila GO Bonds. Inflation was a real problem. The housing market was in the pits. I had never hear of HD, WMT or CPQ. KMart was still a relatively bright new store in Naperville, Ill. I purchased my first zero bond for the kid's college education with a small bonus and lump sum raise. Pollution and Asbestos law suits were in their prime and product liability suits were flowing like water. Chysler was still in deep dodo. Iran was a dirty word and the cold war was still going on. I joined a golf club for almost nothing during a membership drive and almost nobody played golf at the time. Were those the good old days or what. NW
