Most of the other people I've talked to today are somewhat concerned about the current market declines, but they aren't talking about selling yet. The typical comment is that their investments have been going up for years, and this is just a typical long-term correction. "If I'm up 200%, I can ride out a 25% correction." But I did get a voice-mail this afternoon, after the market closed, from a co-worker who is over in the UK. I had closed all of my open positions several weeks ago and had told him when I did it. He called to ask, "How did you know?" He sounded pretty upset.

Does anyone have any data on who is selling and who is buying? Retail customers or investment firms and funds? Also, does anyone have any reasonably current information how much money is sitting on the sidelines?
