Hi LiddyBill !

Would you mind giving us a short status report of how you are doing calender year to date on your stock portfolio? I am down 14.37 percent overall as of tonight's close. Thinking of liquidating some positions in various stocks to be able to add to NTAP and SEBL.

Best regards, Bob

Lindy,

<< Re: PMCS Sierra ... I have owned a chunk for 6 months ... roller coaster with it, and am up a couple of bucks as of today. >>

My experience same as yours. Our problem is we didn't get in earlier and hold.

Top 5 performers on my watch list for a position taken 12/31/98 are SDLI +2701%, ITWO +957%, +PMCS + 904%, +JDSU 895%, QCOM 894%.

I am fortunate to have held the last 2 for that duration, but still don't have positions in the first two.

By contrast SEBL checks in at +443% & NTAP at +407%, but both are newcomers to my portfolio this year as is PMCS.

I almost bought PMCS end of 98 when I bought Qualcomm but opted for WCOM. I got out of WCOM at about the time of the announcement that they were acquiring FON (thank goodness). I exited the same day you questioned my holding it, and referred to it as a "public utility". I still owe you for that one, and might have held Dell longer than I did had I not been following your prophetic comments earlier on re the boxmakers.

I remain hopeful that someone will tackle a Project Hunt Report on this one.
