Randall, you wrote <<Dan B. why do you attack me? >> Interesting you should ask that question since you apparently are so hypersensitive! A couple of years ago you invited me to join the Yahoo Fonix BB and then banished me when I posted something that I guess you found offensive, even though it wasn't meant to be offensive. To respond to some of you Q's to Dan (which I am certain he will address far more eloquently than me) I would like to offer my two cents worth since I just purchased several tens of thousands of shares of FONX at .55. First of all, Yahoo didn't select Fonx....not everybody drives a Mercedes. Does that mean BMW & Lexus are worthless? As far as Roger Dudley distorting facts, I choose to believe he gave you his best information at the time.
You are extremely naive if you don't fully appreciate how dynamic the technology industry is and how plans probably change hour to hour. I think it is a miracle they are still plugging away and I for one have faith that they might just succeed.
Sounds to me like you are somewhat bitter and resentful and you need to let it go!

Randall,

Attack you? Huh? I didn't intend to be rude. I merely asked you a fair question, which in fact is much the same as one you've posed to others here on two occasions I know of. You are obviously both knowledgeable and bitter, which may well be quite understandable.

The oldest post currently reachable on your profile here, #2080 from Oct. of '98, is the first example, and the latest was to Walter Morton quite recently. Walter had just completed a series of posts in which he presented both a positive and a significantly negative case on Fonix. You choose to ask the apparently unbiased Walter if he was paid to promote Fonix. When I suggested he was clearly unbiased IMO, you did not respond.

From your post #2080 on, there are but two posts of yours to any thread but Fonx. They are all negative.

Currently, the financing arrangments Fonix is using would seem to offer motivation to the financiers(who presumably believe ultimately that Fonix has a real chance for success) to see the price of Fonix stock go down in the short run, as they could then acquire much more stock for their money as they continue to keep Fonix afloat on a Just In Time basis as reported. If you could tell us you are affiliated in any way with Fonix's financiers or not, your role here would be clearer, IMO.

It's clear to me from reading over many of your past posts here that you are much more familiar with the principles involved here than I am. You have clear sympathy for the past misfortunes of others at the hands of Fonix. Understandable, I'm sure. Perhaps the financiers deserve to acquire Fonix shares at cheaper prices as far as you are concerned, I don't know. Which is why I asked what I asked of you, again, in much the same fashion as you've asked others here.

Randall, you also ask why did Fonix not get the Yahoo contract. My reply is that there is SIGNIFICANT competition in this voice market. Few companies will ever win ALL potential contracts in their chosen field, and thus it will be fair of anyone to ask why did Fonx win Panasonic, Motorola, and etc, and have Fonix positive suspicions while asking it.

So pardon me if I offended. Still, perhaps you'd care to actually answer my question(you have not), in all fairness. Hey, Walter answered yours, did he not?

Your post to Walter is here.

Randall,

The following opinion might or might not put the Yahoo voice application deal into perspective for some. If the comments here are correct, I'd just add that I'd think that in time, and with broadband connections and more space, things will improve, RE:
