Today's tracking poll from USA Today still shows Bush and Gore tied at 45-45. This poll includes one day after the last Bush-Gore debate. Lots of speculation that Gore was hurt in that debate appears to be wrong.

<<The question, to my mind, is: If a woman does become pregnant and has an abortion, should she be treated as a criminal?>>

No....It's legal. However it does carry some judgement from society. Cigarettes are legal too but people who smoke them are judged...Right or wrong.

<<And don't you guys give me any of this nonsense regarding making exceptions for rape and incest, the fetus doesn't care if it is the product of rape, it is still a fetus.>>

You're correct, it is still a baby. If you can't bring yourself to see a difference between a college fling and being pinned down and raped.....well we see things differently.

<<If women are to be required to have babies regardless of their wishes, then I think that any man who unintentionally impregnates a woman should be forced to pass an apricot pit through his penis.>>

Women and Men know the result of unprotected sex. It's a joint effort.
