(g) The other thing that is a shame is that most of the regulars on the thread can "handle" the banned characters effortlessly,... indeed with one hand tied behind their backs. Why ban them? Just carve them up with intelligent explanations or ribald sniping. Some of the best laughs I've ever had resulted from one of the gang dusting off an annoying cretin with a one-liner. Additionally, when one of the more obvious twits gets too obnoxious, he usually finds himself sword fighting with several of the gang, not just one. And we also have the "ignore" button in any event. Somebody really getting under your skin? press the button. (the truly obnoxious might well end up posting and never receiving a reply due to that button having been pressed by most,..... now THAT would be more than an arrow in the chest). And as difficult as it is for us to admit, occasionally some of these sinners actually provide a darned good idea that all of us can benefit from. (note I said some,..... ok, a few,..... on second thought, make that one or two) (g) Anyway, this whole "banning" thing is "un-American" (and that from a Canuck).
