Hi all, anyone sees a problem in the IPO market ? Debts are piling up on some major financial firms who underwrite IPO stocks, which likely to go way down in this market. I'm not quite sure what kinda debt causes some banks to collapse in Japan. But things could look ugly here in US as well. Any thoughts ? Q

Cush:

I just eyeball Candlestick charts... The Nasdaq had a similar pattern in August when it bottomed in the 3500 area and went to the 4200 area... A 20% move...
stockcharts.com[W,A]DACLYIMY[DC][PB10!B50!B200!H.02,.20][VC60][IUB14!LA12,26,9!LP14,3,3]

The July and August tops end in that 4100 to 4200 area... If we get a triple top, we could see a 40% move from the 3000 area to the 4100 to 4200 area...

We'll need the see the selling (New Lows) dry up on the Nasdaq for any sustained up move...
