Landis (FirstHand Funds) on Intel

Yes, Paul, but wouldn't it be fair to make the following distinction . . .

In the days of, say, the 286 right through to the Pentium family, Intel really had a neat model. They marched up the ladder and people grabbed the PCs off the shelves because they needed the power and the new (MSFT) software. That wasn't quite the same today when Intel is "transitioning" into very new areas and actually re-inventing themselves. Yes, this reinvention is a creative, active, positive reaction to changes in the marketplace, but am I not right that THIS transition involves a lot more risk and more unknowns?

Best, Ivan1
