I don't think wanting to preserve the environment should be liberal or conservative, given that both parties sell out regularly to interests. Where was the money to fight the weestern fires? As far as I'm concerned, neither party is being honest about the budget. It's been all increased taxation and no real restraint on spending, just smoke and mirrors IMO.
