4-5 points is not a clear lead. ten days ago or so Gore led by 11 points in one poll. a week later Bush led by 10 points. they go back and forth like a pendulum. usually whomever leads for a few days gets knocked back down again.

gore has a lot going for him in the last few weeks. he could blow it but he has at least as good a chance to win as bush does. a little unpredictable now but expect Bush's Texas record and personal history to beocme a big issue.
Gore has just begun to fight back.

Hi fuzzymath, My pop just about has me convinced to vote for Liberty. The last time I did that I felt that my protest vote did more damage than good. What do the polls show in that retrospect?
