Ok, but I don't see a point to it. More troops were killed during LBJ's term nonetheless. But the issues have gone off track. Amer Spirit was using both issues of the war and the S&L as darts thrown at the Republicans, when he more rightfully was shooting himself in the foot. I have not read all those he listed. Since the first two I read were wrong I felt the rest would just be more of the same; More BS from AS. Neither party is perfect and I'll accept my party's failings. I will not accept shoot from the hip falsehoods thrown out there without one effort at verification. As for candidates, Bush is far from perfect but at least I know what I will be getting as opposed to the current Al Gore, V 8.6 beta which has not been shown to be y2k+1 stable. JFH
