Joseph, I respect your opinion. I'll simply close my argument, at this juncture, by asking you to evaluate the smiling smirk which clearly existed on George W. Bush's face when he mentioned in the debate that all three of James Byrd's killers would, themselves, be executed. In my view, this was telling and a hint as to what his presidency would be like. Whether one believes in capital punishment or not, delivering such a remark with a smiley face, while simultaneously having the facts of the case wrong and possibly jeapardizing the appeals process of the case still in the courts, tells me that Bush does not have the character to be president of the United States.
